This honestly shows how ambitious the NTE developers are.

Most games would have made 999 Nights a simple limited event, but instead they built an entire fantasy RPG with its own world, progression, exploration, and replayability.

They're not afraid to go head to head with traditional RPGs, even inside their own game.

When I first saw the trailer, I genuinely thought I was looking at a completely different game on the Play Store. 😄

That's probably the biggest compliment I can give the team. They're willing to experiment, take risks, and deliver something players weren't expecting.

If this is the direction NTE is heading, I'm even more excited for the future.

.... I don't think you understand the context.

Mai is roughly the tallest of the three and has a rather gaunt appearance. There are women in this world who take that form naturally... just cast that one.

It isn't the actress' fault. She is fine. She is a good little cinnamon bun who likely was looking forward to this role. We have no actual hate for her and we aren't asking her to change her lifestyle.

We are pointing out that the casting director is an asshole who doesn't care about properly presenting the story and characters accurate to the source material.

But I as an author figured this out when they made the fight scene between Toph and The Boulder LONGER. Do they not realize he is light work for her. Powerful to everyone else but a jobber to her? And then, despite him being a send up to The Rock, they get someone built like one of the other earthbenders we saw in that league.

So, no. This live action series was not crafted with love or care and if you aren't going to do something with love for the characters and material, you shouldn't be making it at all.

Crap like this is why the original creator of the series left the project.
