A variety from the 1st round for @F1000Rally at @SnettertonMSV. 14–17-year-olds tackle rallies in the UK.
After 6 stages, Riley Chester & Victoria Swallow took victory in their Nissan Micra, ahead of Snowdon & Turnbull 2nd in the Suzuki. 3rd was Mathewson & Bass in the VW Up.

A superb drive all day in the Micra pipping McKenzie Snowdon/Jonathan Turnbull to 2nd and last year's champion, Charlie Mathewson/Ian Bass in 3rd.

As we're counting down the days to the first round of the 2024 Championship, here's a throwback to the VERY FIRST Junior Rally, Roskirk Stages 08/03/2009.

What an incredible achievement from Tristan Dodd and the F1000 Club . By our records, this weekend will see our 170th NEW JUNIOR DRIVER take to the stages*. That's 170 people, under the age of 17, sampling the driving seat before being old enough to drive on the public road.

Ahead of the release of regulations, we would like to share the first half of the very PROVISIONAL calendar to allow you to start to preparations:

10th February 2024 – Snetterton Stages Rally (Note, Saturday event)
3rd March 2024 – Lee Holland Memorial Stages – Anglesey

* Event required for End of March/April - recommendations welcome
30th June 2024 - John Overend Memorial - Melbourne

The team are also investigating some opportunities for the Juniors to increase their seat time at a very reasonable cost – more on that in due course!

Whilst the event regulations are coming out for 2024, the championship regulations will be available very soon. The committee - complete with some fresh faces 🙌, have reviewed the draft and subsequently have been submitted for approval.
