“I’ll make it really, really clear: factually, they’re completely incorrect. There’s no basis of truth whatsoever in any of them.
"A few that I’ve read just don’t even seem to take into account some of the absolute basic rules of Formula 1, because some of them suggest they would put Colton in to replace Valtteri in the next few races, or whatever.
“Colton doesn’t have the super license points, and to some extent, that probably says it all about the quality of some of the rumours, but I prefer not to focus on pointing out the obvious. I think the fans can see through all of that."

Sergio Perez was beaming after finishing the Canadian Sprint in 11th, calling the penalty that dropped him down to 14th “unfair”.
He praised the Cadillac team and strategy. The Cadillacs were 2 of only 3 drivers to drive the whole Sprint on soft tires.
Valtteri Bottas called the Canada Sprint a “test session” after doing a setup test during the running of the Sprint.
He explained that “there was some wrong settings in the car” during Sprint Qualifying.
Valtteri Bottas has a new chassis this weekend and says that it’s “definitely feeling better and quite different to the previous races.”
He said the previous chassis had a fundamental flaw but blamed it on being a new team.

Valtteri Bottas finished in a respectable P17.
