For the Iranian diaspora, associated news networks and anyone who cares about freedom from censorship in Iran, my friend and valued member of the Iranian internet freedom community Uoosef Ghobadi is believed to be arrested and detained.

Everything he did was in service to his community and fellow Iranians. If you've spoken to relatives and loved ones in Iran in the last year, it's very likely that his efforts facilitated it. Highly skilled but also compassionate people like him are few and far between.

Be his voice. Don't let him be forgotten in whatever dark place they may be keeping him.

Regime forces are brutal in their interrogation tactics, to the point where many will confess to things they've never done to feel some amount of relief. Sham trials and phoney judgements are what he'll likely face, and he shouldn't have to face this without our support.
