The ban of TikTok in the US could be detrimental to the growth of the sport in America.
Why?
According to a study carried out by sports marketing agency Octagon, 74% of new fans consume F1 content through TikTok.
It is used to showcase old race footage and give new fans an insight into the drivers lives.
Alongside the freedom of speech implications, the removal of such a platform will greatly impact the growth of the sport across the pond
