Being a welder isn't as simple as nailing two pieces of wood together. Welding involves complicated chemistry to make sure that the metals are going to hold together properly.
This education provides a strong foundation they can build on as adults and helps them avoid lifelong money problems, setting themselves on a path toward success early on.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) empowers students to be successful citizens, workers, and leaders in a global economy while providing lifelong learning with academic and technical preparedness to succeed in their chosen careers.
CTE courses could even make your profile stand out in the admissions process. But most importantly, CTE can help you find your passions and professional strengths while still in high school.
Career and technical education teaches students important life skills. CTE programs offer students the opportunity to learn important 21st-century learning skills while also gaining valuable experience in their chosen field.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, so STEM careers are those that require science, technology, engineering, and math knowledge.
Career clusters connect what students learn in school with the knowledge and skills they need for success in college and careers. Each career cluster identifies different pathways from secondary school to two- and four-year colleges, graduate school, and the workplace.
