To take advantage, you have to compare rates across commercial and merchant/Micro-Finance banks, choose longer tenures for higher returns, and keep deposits within NDIC-insured limits while matching the lock-in period to their liquidity needs.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Tip: Micro-finance banks have higher rates. That’s what I use.
