@DL6AP@F0GOW@Dl5Gac@flo_0_ I heard you calling me and replied you with my report (that i listen clearly on the transponder) so I believed the QSO was ok, i logged it and I didn't want to keep calling dupe to make space for the DL at the end of your FP
@FG8OJ I agree this loss of IO117 is really make me loosing motivation as well. I sitll have QO100 but I wonder what #amsat US is doing appart from organising expensive symposium. All what we need is them to lead the project for another MEO or GEO SAT !
@Ea5Iwz Its getting more difficult to park and operate from a car in 3A, probably best chance is around the harbour as you also have good takeoff. Also remember to inform the DCE by email before operating https://t.co/vdrICDql8D
@2m0sql If you use the DXPatrol helix, then strong advise to try something else as feeder. Also key is to place the PA as close as possible from the feed, ideally less than 1m to avoid coaxial losses
@ME_Xianming@kikori1906 It may had change but at the time I was operating there, we didn't need any resident guarantor, just follow the application procedure and paiement, same as for VR2 side.
@kikori1906@ME_Xianming I got XX9TKV licence two times back in 2008 and 2009. Not difficult for visitors but need to be patient and be there in Macau for all paperwork and technical inspection of the station. If plan well, all licensing appointment can be done within one day.
@g0mrf@QO100DxClub@AmsatUK a much easier way to achieve horizon path is to put the offset dish upside down. It will keep it's balanced weight and you will not be blocked by the mast in case you have to keep down the elevation. example photo was in XW4KV OK34 at 0.8 elev. gl & 73
@kikori1906 Thanks for qso and Kyoto ! now only missing Miyazaki and Iwate pref. to finalise the WAJA ! if any JA friends have plans for IO-117 operation in future ! 73
@Dl4Ea@S5Lab Except if only EU FP or you endless cq, but otherwise i will NOT look for you, I already QSO 3A on Satellite. I hope my EU friends will do same and let DX stations to contact this challenging place for radio ! good luck 73
