@JonasJCampbell Depends on the game. If it's a pirate game, 100%. Like John Linneman said, while it's usually not part of the game design, it definitely adds to yhe experience positively... whether you like it or not.
@PolyarcGames Definitely gonna play it on PS5. Loved the first Moss on PSVR. Could never get PSVR2 to play the next one, due to a change in financial situation. I'm really happy to see I will be able to now. 😁

@Mega_sean I don't know why people keep pushing this "disks are glorified license keys" narrative when most PS4/5 physical games can be installed without being connected to the internet and still be able to play them. Website like https://t.co/PGu8lCZEOQ proves it.
@MightyKeef@Rahll Because digital content works on the premise of there's a license to distribute (for storefronts) to license to use (for consumers). This sucks. The problem is with the definition of ownership, because some people could use that argument to say they can do whatever with it.
@ThePapaGut I think what would be the best path forward for Kratos' final arc would be to see how they approach him entering his "God of Hope" phase teased at the end of Ragnarok.
@Discod844@ThePapaGut This isn't just a spin-off, this is a side-story that happens in parallel to God of War 2018 and Ragnarok. And everything that Kratos and Atreus do in 2018 was already set up by Faye herself. Saying there's no relation to the original material is crazy.
@Discod844@ThePapaGut There is no problem with the title. This is the world of "God of War" and this story is just another within that universe. And if you think God of War refers only to Kratos when he hasn't been the God of War since the short beginning in God of War 2, you're fooling yourself.
@bobupandown4@justnyxs She's a Giant from Jotunheim. IIRC, all giants have magic that allows
them to look normal size when in Midgard (the real of mortals/normal people). If she can go toe-to-toe with Kratos AND Thor and come out of these fights alive, you bet she could break that god' arm.
@DestinLegarie Or you know, Laugey the Just.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if she'll end up having to choose between returning to her family or staying to protect the habitants of the Everwhen.
@mask_bastard None are of them are heroes though, despite how their stories portray them. They are all cautionary tales of what happens when certain things become a reality: hyper-patriotism, unchecked violence without due process, fanatism, and humanity lost under authoritarian regime.
@TheCartelDel Yes, that was part of the story trailer. He hasn't earned the double-0 status yet and even his mentor didn't think he was ready for field missions. I think the person who wrote that preview of First Light missed that this version of Bond is not supposed to be flawless.
@synaesthesiajp And given how studio growth was sort of unavoidable, having multiple teams run projects simultaneously should have been the way to go for AAA. We have the tools and knowledge to make modest-sized AAA games without crunch (or AI) in reasonable times (~3 years).
@synaesthesiajp The economics of AAA games don't work anymore because of the scale of the projects (and consequently the teams). This was never a problem during the PS2 era and I could argue even the PS3 days (to some extent). We need smaller projects and teams to make AAA affordable.
@BonafideXP@Justin__NC Their shareholders did. After Fortnite, Overwatch and Warzone, a lot of them probably wanted some of that MP money. They are probably the same people who pressured them (SIE) to close Japan and London Studios due to not seeing the value they bring to the PS portfolio. 🥲
