24 Competitors this year. About 30 in Muncie at the last WC. New teams this year are Japan and Australia, no Germany or Canada though.

Team GB come 6th out of 10 teams, narrowly beating Team Japan.
Dan 12th, Colin 20th, Darron 24th.

New WR in a refly of the last heat. Marcel Schlage flew a 55.39 in the very last flight of the competition.

At the end of round 15, Dan in 13th, Colin in 20th and Darron in 24th.

Rounds 13-15 completed before lunch. Darron 2x 200 and a 91.20*, Colin 70.18, 74.21& 82.74* and Dan 73.19*, 66.95 & 70.91*.

Darron handed in a score too today and took a 200. Another gesture by team GB in the spirit of fair sportsmanship.

Team GB, like the other teams are having to deal with erratic lights on one. Best times today were Dan 63.94, Darron 75.26* and Colin 75.77.

Team GB end day 3 in 5th place with Dan in 14th, Colin in 18th and Darron in 22nd. Dan is one of only four competitors not to get a 200 yet.

Austrian protest resolved, timing and lights not in conformance with rules, but Jury has decided to change nothing.

Reason for refly was Dan got a 57.5 with a 5.8 first lap. After studying the lap times, Dan with the full support of Team GB handed it back.

All the teams lined up (except France & Russia) to clap the two guys as they came back. A demonstration of respect for proper sportsmanship

Dan (GB) & Tony (AUS) complete their reflights after handing in their 57 and 59 in yesterday as too good to be true. Dan got a 63.87.

There are also 2 protests in, keeping a number of rounds open. Results of protests will be disclosed tomorrow. Dan to refly first thing.

Day 2 has finished, however no overnight positions. Several delays during the day meaning that reflights would have been into the sun.

1st Day finished at 3pm. Dan 15th, Darron 16th and Colin 22nd. Best times were Darron 62.39, Dan on 63.15. Colin on 67.00+1 cut.

Weigh-in finished. No surprises for team GB in weight or limiters. However started 2 hours late and finished 3 hours late.

Buzau cup finished. Czech 1-2-3. Dan 10th, Colin 12th from 24 runners. Both GB flyers posted their first 200's in the final round.
