@JohannesTEvans Beyond the bigotry, it also sets up that "men behave badly and you should just suck it up", which is a really bad message, especially for newly out people and baby queers. Toxic behaviour (including toxic masculinity) is bad, but generalising everyone like that helps no one.

@Hapfairy @katecmorrison @JMCwrites @sharpegirl It won't make a difference to the tax you pay (you'd pay the same amount if you put the net figure - after agent deductions - down), but it provides a clear audit trail and a full record for tax purposes, because no one wants a tax enquiry 😵

That way your records will match with tax records from publishers/agents/wherever else they check.

@Litdarlings_ I half-agree with you on Adam Carlsen - I think he takes no crap, but he enjoys wearing a mask of grumpiness. Thinking about the times he pretends to not want to do something, like go to dinner, or the final scene with Olive. I think everyone has their own definition of grumpy.
