They were bold. Operating in the full glare of cameras and police officers without showing the slightest sign of fear, the entire operation appeared carefully choreographed. The suspected hired goons, believed to enjoy the backing of local authorities, wreaked havoc on a Linda Mwananchi rally in Kisii.
Although the opposition leaders successfully held rallies across the region, the attack on their convoy at Keumbu once again exposed the state's underbelly in allegedly promoting political hooliganism.
The warning signs were glaring earlier in the day when a group of youths staged a protest in Kisii Town. They were complaining about what they described as an underpayment for an assignment to block the Linda Mwananchi leaders from accessing the town. The disgruntled youths claimed they had only received Sh500 instead of the Sh1,500 promised by a powerful politician to disrupt the convoy.

@FACTracks_@clarabazel254 The conversation has been ongoing since 2024. Things keep getting worse as we sit and think they will undo themselves. We need that final walk to state house otherwise we're headed to being UG or Zim. Health is in hell, education is worse, getting a govt service is harder etc

Justice B Murunga on the informal employment sector:
Justice is not reserved for those with polished HR offices and neatly printed payslips. It belongs equally to the jua kali artisan, the mama mboga, the small-scale farmer and the boda-boda rider.

Court of Appeal: The Ruaraka land was public land, having been validly surrendered by Afrison Export.
The schools therefore sat on public land, and the Government could not compulsorily acquire land it already owned. The KSh 1.5 billion compensation was illegal.
This is a sad incident, but we have forwarded as received:
Hello good morning,
I am a cab driver and the worst happened yesterday to me.
I got a trip request, a lady from mirema syndicate said she was going to kitengela.
She said her phone was off and yes I didn't see any red flags.
I started the trip and she said she was going to pick something then return, so it was a sort of a round trip.
Little did I know that it was a trap.
The moment we reached her destination I don't know what happened I lost my consciousness immediately and it was around 11 pm.
Luckily I woke up safe where I had parked the vehicle but all valuables that I had were gone.
I was feeling dizzy more than a drunkard but I said to my self let me try and get home.
It was the day of the devil, I caused an accident, luckily I wasn't hurt.
Plot twist is that, one of my phone's has the feature that, when you try to unlock it, it takes a selfie.
She got away with my Samsung A17 and iphone 14pro max.
My brothers and sisters from the @DCI_Kenya and @NPSOfficial_KE please help this Kenyan.

All leaders who believe in the liberation- #Ukombozi- of Kenya must come together to RESET the country to Constitutionalism, Rule of Law and Economic Opportunity for all.
