.@MirwaizKashmir Expresses Concern Over Decline in Hajj Pilgrims from J&K; Urges Muslims who can afford ,Not to Delay the Obligation
Srinagar, April 24, 2026: While delivering his Friday sermon at Jama Masjid, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, expressed concern that this year has witnessed one of the lowest numbers of pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir proceeding for Hajj.
He noted a growing trend of people preferring Umrah over Haj or postponing Hajj in anticipation of more convenient conditions, such as cooler seasons. He also observed that many who can afford .delay Hajj until they feel all worldly responsibilities are fulfilled, which is not the correct approach.
Emphasizing that while Umrah holds great virtue, Hajj remains an obligatory pillar of Islam for those who can afford it, he said it should not be delayed unnecessarily. “Life and death are in the hands of Allah, and no one knows what tomorrow holds,” he said.
Urging people to undertake Hajj at a younger age if they can afford, Mirwaiz said that Hajj is an Ibadah that entails physical exertion, and is best performed when one has strength and good health. He cautioned that delaying it indefinitely may lead to missing the opportunity altogether.
He appealed to the Muslim community to give due priority to Hajj and fulfill this fundamental obligation without delay.

This isn’t leadership…it’s a reckless, unhinged rant. He’s openly admitting to the destruction, genocide of the Iranian people and dressing it up as ‘change.’ Honestly, he sounds like a goon who’s lost his mind ,given sleepless nights because Iran isn’t bending, not ready for any deal, and now just looking for a safe passage out.
History will remember this. One has to wonder when Muslim nations will finally stand united because silence in the face of this is nothing short of spineless. This is what happens when someone unfit for office is handed power.
The tweet by the president of America yesterday was too disgraceful to warrant a response. It seems by today his frustration has peaked and he is now threatening death to an entire civilisation in one night!
The Israel US nexus and countries which support them and their ideology of hegemony and hate, has brought the world to this dangerous and inhuman pass, where an open call to genocide of an entire nation is made with total impunity and disregard for human principles and law.
Silence in the face of these threats is nothing short of complicity. The global community must act now to halt this madness and push for an immediate end to this war of Israeli US aggression on Iran.
Trump: you have 48 hours to comply
Iran 🇮🇷 : nobody cares
Trump: you have a week
When pressure met resolve, Iran 🇮🇷 stood firm, proving that courage doesn’t bow to deadlines!
Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane?
I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?
