In UP's Hamirpur, a sub-inspector took lift from a truck driver. It is alleged that upon disembarking at a toll plaza, the sub-inspector proceeded to depart in his personal vehicle. The driver subsequently discovered that ₹20,000 were missing from his possession. The driver pursued the sub-inspector for approximately 13 kilometers and apprehended him. The money was recovered from within the sub-inspector's uniform.

यूपी : नोएडा के मेदांता हॉस्पिटल (सेक्टर 50) में एक मरीज को भर्ती करने के वक्त प्रतिदिन का खर्च 50–60 हजार रुपए बताया गया। जब बिल हाथ में आया तो इससे दोगुना पैसा वसूला गया। CMO ने हॉस्पिटल निदेशक को नोटिस भेजा है।

हालांकि बड़े हॉस्पिटल वाले ऐसे नोटिस को कुछ नहीं समझते, क्योंकि उनके संपर्क ऊंचे हैं। तमाम नेता और अधिकारी मुफ़्त इलाज कराते हैं। उन्हीं के बूते यह हॉस्पिटल वाले आम मरीजों से कई गुना ज्यादा पैसा वसूलते हैं।
