🌳Adansonia suarezensis, also known as the Suarez baobab or Bozimena, is a unique and endangered species. In 2020, Madagascar Voakajy revealed a very low rate of natural regeneration—just 29 per cent—highlighting the urgent need to step up conservation efforts.

🌿 Sustainable finance. On 28 and 29 April 2026, a workshop organised by WWF Madagascar at the Radisson Blu Antananarivo, aimed at promoting sustainable finance to strengthen Madagascar’s commitment to the 30x30 Plan.

🌿🌳 Of the seven species of baobab found in Madagascar, Adansonia perrieri, known locally as Bozibe, is the rarest and most endangered. Endemic to northern Madagascar, it is now classified as critically endangered (IUCN).
