Azerbaijan is buying a significant amount of military equipment from Israel specially drones, even though Turkey has a most powerful defense industry specially drones, as demonstrated by Pakistan using Turkish drones in the Pakistan-India aerial battle two years ago, in which my Pakistan Army had shot down 8 Indian warplanes in 45 minutes. That event really shocked the whole world…

so why is Azerbaijan buying so much from Israel instead of relying more on Turkey, its brotherly partner??

BUT… I believe your question rests on a deeper one: why doesn’t Azerbaijan sell more oil to Turkey, its brotherly nation, instead of supplying so much to Israel?

Turkey continues to import millions of tonnes of oil from Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, China, and other countries, often at a significant cost. Given Azerbaijan’s substantial oil reserves and its close relationship with Turkey, why doesn’t it prioritize Turkey’s energy needs by supplying it with oil at more favourable prices?

Why does Azerbaijan continue supplying Israel instead of offering greater priority to its own brotherly nation?

Perhaps that’s the question we should be asking first…
