@scenequeenrocks it doesn't sound like your label made you "change" so much as they "allowed" you to make the music that you WANT to make, rather than force you to fit in the current "allowed" style that women in rock are expected to make.

I'm a vastly different body type than Ladybeard (afab, fat not muscular), but damn if it doesn't build confidence seeing someone else outside the expected body build for a costume pulling it off with confidence and ease.
I love that so much. I strive to be that one day
