I want to keep it honest with you all. I know you all want to play this fall and that is great. The truth is that most of you won’t see this field this year because you aren’t ready. That is ok! It’s not a lack of talent.

Here are short term wins that will set you up for great success within the next year:

1. Back up reps are key. The film tells the truth. Don’t overlook the importance as a back up
2. Weight room gains
3. Setting a strong GPA foundation
4. Acclimating to college life, schedule and demands.
5. Dress/travel with team
6. Utilizing redshirt year as a year of growth, maturity and confidence.

If you trust the process, you’ll look back a year from now and be grateful for the past year.
