PSA to Florida high school football players: Once you hit the practice field officially on July 27th, that team you begin practicing with is who youโre with for the 2026 #hsfb season, per the FHSAA.
Thereโs no checking out a few practices and changing your mind. You begin practicing with that team, thatโs who youโll be with, pending any extraordinary circumstances.
I can definitely see into the crystal ball ๐ฎ that there will be kids, families that will challenge this new rule and that will be the interesting part is how the state association handles the case-by-case basis folks.
