Christopher Nimley played a big role in my life, but I was disappointed and sad when he went to the media to criticise me unfairly; it felt personal. – Lawrence Ati Zigi

“I wanted to take a picture with him after the game. I had to wait one full hour because he went to the gym straight up after the game”

Listen to Stonebwoy when Benjamin Asare conceded 2 goals.
I’m very disappointed in you paaa.
You think as for him, he can’t blame Asare because he’s not his fan?
Sometimes let’s put favoritism aside and support Ghana when needed 🇬🇭
🚨🎙️ Micah Richards on people blaming Bruno Fernandes:
🗣️ “People are calling out Bruno Fernandes for not performing at this World Cup.
But what I’m seeing is completely different.
A player with that level of creativity doesn’t just become ineffective overnight.
For me, the bigger questions should be about Roberto Martínez’s tactics and the way this Portugal team is set up.
Because when you’ve got this much quality in your squad, you should be playing far better football than we’ve seen so far.
Give Michael Carrick this same Portugal squad, and I’m convinced he’d leave the United States with the World Cup trophy.” 🇵🇹❤️
🚨📢| Martínez Is Not the Problem – Portugal’s Ego and Flat Midfield Are:
🗣️Jose Mourinho
“My sincere take on this Portugal team, Coach Roberto Martínez is not the problem- he’s actually one of the few bright spots.
When your midfield features players of the quality of Bruno Fernandes (one of the Premier League’s standout performers) and Vitinha, yet all you see is sideways passing with zero creativity or risk, something is clearly off. Too many players look like they feel untouchable. That kind of ego and lack of urgency turns a talented squad into a stagnant one.
That’s why I have to give Martínez his flowers. The changes he made last night -especially taking Bruno off-were necessary and courageous. He’s showing that no one is guaranteed a starting spot, and that message needs to land. If not for his management and tactical control, this Portugal side could easily have been heading home early.
What we’re watching is a team full of individual pride but seriously lacking collective hunger and cohesion. For a squad that entered the tournament among the favorites, the football has been disappointingly flat and boring. Credit to the coach for holding it together.”
