And 3 lans only matters if people are still interested in the game. You’ll see plenty of people at the China lan, mostly KSA at EWC and probably a substantial drop at Stockholm if things continue this way. Unfortunately ow has made too many bad choices in a row 3/3

Right now you can’t compare the two because MR is new to the esports end of things and ow is definitely less fun. But also shroud said OW USE to be the goat. OWCS is a wreck and bad balance patches forcing one meta for about half a year now has made the game boring. 1/

This doesn’t even take into account that only one comp per a season basically is hard meta and it’s been that way since ow2s release. Only during the end of OWL was multiple different things being played. 2/
