いつしか"最高裁判事になりたい"という夢の理由を忘れてしまった主人公がどん底に突き落とされたところから始まる本作。公共訴訟の弁護士として活躍し最高の仲間と出会いながら自身の原点に戻っていく過程が良く、本質は変わってないはずなのにカンダウィを愛さずにはいられなくなる。

描かれる訴訟は胸が痛くなるものも多く、現実はこんなにうまく行かないかもと思う場面もあるけれど、こんな結末があって欲しい...と願ってしまうことも。「良い人とは？」「真実とは？」を視聴者にも語りかけてくるような全12話。

それぞれが"何か"を心に抱えたプロボノチームが自身や過去と向き合いながら戦う姿も印象的で、OSTが流れるたびに胸が熱くなるので、チームで働くお仕事ドラマ好きな方やサイダードラマ好きな方にもおすすめかも。

『ソウルの家から大企業に通うキム部長の物語』でも思ったけれど、1話で抱く主人公の印象がどんどん変わっていくのが不思議で、見えてなかったダウィの人間的な本質に光が当たるたびに応援したくなるはず。

そして終始チョンギョンホ氏の魅力がぎゅうぎゅうに詰まってて個人的にはシーズン2もやって欲しいなぁ。
