The reason why I didn’t mention Lamine and Cubarsi is because I’m terrified for them. The physical toll Flick’s football will have on them scares me. Especially, Lamine. Their bodies aren’t fully developed, so the higher the intensity, the higher the risks. I hope I’m wrong.

This is why it hurts me so much. Lamine was developing exceptionally well under Xavi bc he allowed him to be himself. Xavi knew and understood what it meant to be a Barcelona winger. A year without the guidance and Barca way is going to drastically affect his development.

De Zerbi is literally right there. Unless you already have an agreement with Pep for 2025, then waiting a year for Klopp isn’t worth it. De Zerbi checks all the boxes. The philosophy, the culture, and the attractive football he plays. Laporta doing his agent buddy another favor.

I really don’t understand why we didn’t pay Betis to bring him back. He had a good season and showed his potential. If you loaned him out another year, you would’ve had a very good LCB. If Betis do sell him, we’ll end up getting €8.5M in total. This one is just bad business.
