UPI continues to remain free for consumers. Person-to-person (P2P) payments remain completely free, while person-to-merchant (P2M) transactions up to ₹2,000 continue with zero MDR.

For specified merchant transactions above ₹2,000, MDR is applicable on the merchant side—not to UPI users. UPI MDR helps support the technology, infrastructure and operations needed to keep the UPI ecosystem running smoothly and sustainably.

Be alert and do not be part of any groups that dole out advice on which stocks to invest in. Fraudsters trick you into ‘investing’ and when you want to withdraw the ‘profit made, they disappear.

Insurance fraud is a growing concern, particularly with the rise of fraudulent phone calls targeting unsuspecting individuals. These scammers often use sophisticated tactics to exploit fear and greed, tricking victims into providing personal information or transferring money.

[Fintech Convergence Council @FCCUpdates]

Never trust anyone asking you to join social media groups or messaging apps for ‘secret stock tips’. It can be a scam. Invest through registered stockbrokers by depositing funds in their account and avoid cash deals. #SatraktaMeinHainSamjhdari
