@FCDGAF Clois fans always get pissed cause at the end of the day facts are facts. When the option was there, he chose to get back with Lana over pursing something with Lois. He only got with Lois cause Lana was forced out of his life. That’s why they hate this scene so much.

Their love is so strong they made it physically impossible for them to be together in order to separate them, this shows that as long as Lana is in his life he wouldn't choose Lois and that made her look like the 2nd choice and a consolation prize.

He wouldn't have left Lois stranded while he was chasing Lana and planning a future with her. Done

@theoceanblooms Well the show runners didn't think that at all and always confirmed that the story is about Clark and Lana and will stay Clark and Lana,mind you this is in season 5 when Lois is already part of the cast.That's why they didn't even give Lois full season until 10.
