@belle_levesque @EScrimshaw It's called a fundraiser aka you promote the more famouparticipants so folks who don't know your candidate show up and give you money. No one who practices politics at the grass roots level is suprised by this.

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@st_ottawa @DavidHillWard3 @DevineSean Deal! When can we expect the data dump?

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@ChrisSpoke @HettrickMichael I don’t think your viewpoints are incongruent. You can (and as conservatives we should) work towards substantive reforms, but while doing so we should be cognizant of how it will impact the most immediate needs and concerns of real people on the ground

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@Ottawa_Steve That’s right

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@Ottawa_Steve Your inexperience driving is showing. It was also freezing rain over the last 48 hrs. Cleaning up the roads lets our buses and cars proceed safely, which protects drivers, passengers and pedestrians.

You’re a very privileged minority, my friend, as someone who can walk to work.

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@Ottawa_Steve Because one mode of transport doesn’t endanger the lives of the commuter and others when travelling in snowy conditions. Bad take man.

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@Ottawa_Steve The Liberals said Saskatchewan should have elected more LPC MPs if they wanted the same treatment, and it’s somehow the Premier whose acting in bad faith by pointing out how one sided this policy change is?

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@Ottawa_Steve So, what would you like the City or the people of Ottawa to do?

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@calgarygrit @CurseOfPolitics With the Mulroney implosion and Hazel being limited by mayor I think that list beats front runner Reid by a comfortable margin.

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@EsotericCD He really burst onto the scene

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@SpinelessL The nuts who follow Jones are here because they want to be invested in lies like the Jewish conspiracy because it excuses their own failure and limitations but their still Americans and some things like the righteous and sacrifice of WW2 are too deeply ingrained to be challenged

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@SpinelessL You’d know it better but it seems like these cranks have a good fifth sense of where the fault lines in their conspiracy base are. Deny the existence of the world’s greatest crime, all good bro. Implying Hitler, OG enemy of the West is a good guy - too far!

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@SpinelessL This whole episode shows how fake and manipulative these professional hate artists are. Alex Jones implies he believes all the things Kanye is saying today in order to build an audience of the unwell but he also knows better then to out right say it.

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@SpinelessL When Alex Jones is the semi-voice of reason in the room…

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@SpinelessL Now hold on a sec, we’re talking about Peter Thiel the genius talent evaluator who found the next big James Bond villain and then… convinced him to run for Arizona senate as a… viral ad campaign for the next movie, I guess?
What where we talking about again?

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@robert_hiltz @stphnmaher Appreciate that, and am open to fact my own blinders may be leading me astray. I just find it hard to swallow that the party is permanently divided. That’s not my experience as a volunteer. Plus, it’s politics, nothing’s ever permanent!

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@robert_hiltz @stphnmaher I’d attribute their departure more to the base’s visceral dislike of Trudeau and underestimating the ground work required to return to gov’t for Scheer, and flip flopping and poor caucus management post election for O’Toole.

[Forrest Donaldson @FCDonaldson]

@robert_hiltz @stphnmaher A growing trend in western democracies. The fact that those two leaders would have originated from opposite grandfather parties suggests that it’s not likely the non-existent PC/CA divide behind their equally speedy departures.
