Yesterday, the boys and girls competed at the Gene Armer Invitational at the University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana. Here are the medaling events:

4x800: 5th
400: 3rd
Long Jump: 1st
High Jump: 2nd
Boys 4x400: 3rd
60m Hurdles (girls): 2nd
Pole Vault: 5th

On Monday the team went to Eckert’s for a workout. The throwers and sprinters did hill repeats while the distance crew got a long run in. Afterwards the team enjoyed a team dinner back at school catered by Tequila’s. It was a fun day!

Alexis Geluck - career PR in the LJ - 4,65m, season PR in the 400 - 1:04.96, and season PR split in the 4x4 - 1:03.67

The boys and girls had a great meet on Friday at the Jacksonville Indoor Invitational. The girls finished 1st, and the boys 2nd! The way back was interesting with all of the weather, but we made it back safe and sound. A huge thank you to our awesome bus driver, Sherri Yarber!
