We are more than just books! School librarians have so much more to offer their students and schools! This gorgeous image from the book "The Day the Librarians Disappeared" says it all! See the entire book here https://t.co/VHh9lujIeq #CCSLIbrariesForALL #AASLslm

Jumped on the bandwagon and created our top 10 books of 2022 list...@AlanGratz I think you have some fans at Forest Creek Middle School!

@SStegemeyer In NC and SC you need an MLIS / MSLS degree, pass the PRAXIS exam, and then get certified for "K-12 Library Media"

@FMMSLibrary What a cool idea!

[Jarrett Lerner @Jarrett_Lerner]

If I hadn’t been allowed to discover that books could be funny, I never would’ve stuck around to discover all the OTHER things they can be. Letting kids read what THEY want is the best first step toward helping them fall in love with reading.

October reminder that teachers and librarians can always request a free copy of AMARI AND THE NIGHT BROTHERS. Just send a DM!

@MsYingling My students love browsing the graphic novel section. I think they’d feel like they lost something if GN were interfiled. 🤷‍♀️

[Jennifer Longworth @FCMS_library]

@ElloEllenOh Ooh we would love a copy at FCMS!! ❤️

Research often is a struggle, but it's a *good* struggle!

[edutopia @edutopia]

In the classroom, the easiest path may not be the most fruitful one. See how productive struggle can set learners' brains "on fire" with activity.

School librarianship is the best and I am so blessed to work with so many wonderful students and colleagues! 🥳🙌📚💖

[SCASL @SCASLNet]

April is School Library Month! We will be celebrating school librarians across our state all this month so be on the lookout for those each day! Starting on April 4, SCASL will have activities for school librarians to participate in each day on social media!

[Elizabeth Kahn @TaylorLibrarian]

I love it when #authors speak the truth about #librarians in their books. #Librariessavelives @AuthorLisaFipps #starfish #mglit #middleschool

[Jennifer Longworth @FCMS_library]

Had an idea to do a school wide reading contest for the month of April in celebration of #schoollibrarymonth. Tickets/progress will be displayed in the main hallway. So excited for this! 📚❤️🍦🤓 #middleschool #schoollibrary
