It breaks our heart that we have to share that long term friends of the HJFL Kevin and Gemma Rimmer are preparing to do what no parent should and that is to say goodbye to their Child. Jacob has shown incredible strength throughout his battle with NKH and gastrointestinal dystonia but unfortunately the family are preparing for his final journey.

Friends and family are raising money to help make every last memory as extra special as possible and you can read more about Jacob’s battle and donate on the link below.

Sorry guys but we’ve had a late pitch inspection and given the forecast is rain overnight and all morning we have called off Carr Lane & Meols Park for the girls on Sunday - It may be playable for 1 game at 9 but will be a mud bath by the 4th game… Sorry but thought best to give everyone as much notice as possible. I will try and get on them in the week.
