The temporary WiFi network “FCS_Rescue” will be turned off tonight. All students and staff will use “FCS_Wifi2” wireless network. All district owned devices should connect to it automatically. The tech team will continue to monitor the network for any connectivity issues.
Restoration of Microsoft Teams class rosters is in progress. Teachers and students are able to connect in Teams through “Meet Now” or adding users to a Team. Teams class rosters and traditional access to Teams classes will progress throughout the day.
Some teachers and students are not able to access Teams classes. IT is working to resolve issue. Will post restoration status here and through internal Service Desk email. Thank you for your patience.

For FCS Windows devices: To ensure optimal operation, restart your computer daily (maybe lunch time) as well as restart Teams on occasion—especially if you have connection problems. Shut down at the end of the day. Restart/shutdowns initiate different, helpful updates.
Classlink (Single Sign On Portal) is down in several districts. They are working on it. Microsoft Teams can still be accessed through the Teams desktop app and/or https://t.co/8DQMkdyZUx.
The process to allow some students using FCS devices to access assignments in Teams ran successfully last night. Impacted students may need to reboot their device two times to accept the update.
We have identified an internal issue with some students using FCS issued devices attempting to access assignments in Microsoft Teams. An overnight process will run tonight and slowly roll out to student devices. Students should reboot machines to accept the update.
