📢NEW #KINETICOLOR PAPER🧪📸
In our latest collaboration with colleagues from @StrathForensics:
ℹ️ “…protocols utilising #Kineticolor, a computer vision software, were developed to qualitatively and quantitatively study presumptive tests for xylazine detection…these findings represent the first presumptive test strategy towards specific, quantifiable and potentially field-ready detection of xylazine.”

Really inspired by @lornanisbet1 talk on reuse of GCMS vials at the @CharterForSci Student conference on sustainability- our students get lots of hands on experience and as a result generate a lot of vial waste so it is time to take a look at reducing that!
Excited to be launching our educator's survey on the teaching of sensitive subjects at the @CharterForSci conference this morning. Please share your experience of teaching forensic science https://t.co/Q5tSXf9xak

It's October so time for the @CharterForSci blog looking forward to the L&T stream of the annual conference, @FCarlysle, the L&T stream Chair, talks about collaboration and it's importance in L&T: https://t.co/2KRtkvYu5k
Thank you @vicephecconf for giving me the opportunity to present and @RSC_HEG for supporting my attendance. A huge thank you to those who came to my talk and showed their creativity!
Many thanks to @fire_scot for their support with two @StrathForensics MSc research projects- we had a brilliant day doing some burns and picking the brains of members of the fire investigation team #resultstofollow#collaboration
Very happy to share this piece of work - a classic example of a project that starts looking at one thing but ends up finding something else really cool instead https://t.co/erL8eke1bT
That 'your paper has been accepted for publication' feeling! Very happy that we are going to be able to share some excellent work from a @StrathForensics student based on their MSc project (hopefully more to come as well)
Very excited that I will be attending @vicephecconf this year to present on the meme project. Thank you so much to @RSC_HEG for supporting my attendance with a travel bursary for my first education based conference. #forensiceducation#learningandteaching
