A lot of times, we don’t realize it, but we’re using our faith for the negative. We expect defeat, sickness, trouble. It’s time to have a different approach, “This is a new day. I’m setting a new standard. The enemies I’ve seen in the past I will see no more.”
Every day, you have to decide, “Am I going to hold on to this offense, or am I going to let it go? Am I going to hang out with these friends that cause me to compromise, or am I going to stay on the high road and be a person of excellence?"
Don’t change who you are for someone that isn’t going to be for you no matter what you do. It’s not about you. You don’t have time to deal with every negative comment and every person that doesn’t like you or understand you.
When people don’t accept you, when they leave you out, when they try to stir up conflict, don’t take it personally. It’s not about you. It’s about the favor God has put on you.
You may have some big obstacles, but the forces that are for you are greater than the forces that are against you. You and God are a majority. Start believing again. Don’t let what hasn’t worked out talk you out of what God has in your future.
God has gifts for you. He has mercy, wisdom, favor, abundance. You don’t earn it. You don’t work for it. It’s not based on your education, your background. It’s a gift. But these gifts won’t do you any good if you don’t receive them.
