Diesel has hit a new record.

Today, the national average is $6.06, up from the high of $5.85 last week. According to AAA, that is almost $3.71 more from this time last year.

Regular gasoline is sitting at an average of $4.30.

Yeah, I am just cautious about the plight. We have filtered more phone calls the last two weeks and people are starting to really question the safety of beef in general. I haven’t seen this much questioning about the supply chain since mRNA rumors came out. We tried to answer as honestly as we can, but I know our answers don’t fall in the narratives of others propaganda.

As for the President, I think he truly does what he wants to do and is not going to be listening to anyone. Doesn’t mean I like or dislike him, It just means that I don’t recall having a president operate in the manner that he does.

If Washington truly wants to put ranchers first, perhaps the next meeting shouldn’t be built around who has the biggest platform. It should be built around who has the deepest understanding of how this complicated industry works.

It’s been talked about over and over. I sat at a table 2 weeks ago and three out of the four ranches at the table did not have a succession plan. I was the only ranch that did between my dad and myself. leaders can only talk so much and encourage so much but what they can’t do is make those on ranch decisions for you. Until we get past, we’re gonna do it the same way we always have done, and generations are willing to have those tough conversations leaders will continue to talk until they’re blue in the face
