Fairbanks City Council met for less than 10 minutes to vote on emergency measures in response to the new #coronavirus. They will allow councilmembers to attend meetings via phone and the mayor has been granted the authority to make changes to how meetings are conducted.
The special City Council meeting is happening at 5:30. The council will discuss whether to allow councilmembers to participate over the phone and give the mayor the authority to change how the public participates.
