Yesterday evening, the Department of Corrections Public Relations team hosted a Prison Tour for our citizens. They were able to explore the ins and outs of the prison, accompanied by food and drinks from Sparks Snow.

[FS DoC Special Emergency Response Team @FSDoC_SERT]

Recently, the Special Emergency Response Team hosted a tryout at Camp Archer to recruit new members into the team. We congratulate everyone who passed tryouts and we can't wait to see you as a full-time Specialist soon.

During the State of Emergency, the Special Emergency Response team has been actively securing the prison with our new uniforms. They have successfully kept our Inmates and Correctional Officers safe during these times.

Even if we're training, the Marine Division remains ready to respond to any and all calls. Solid work from our enlistees who put their training to practical use and assisted in the de-escalation of a shooting situation.

Last Saturday, the Department of Corrections hosted a vessel showcase at Greendale Docks. Civilians had the opportunity to explore many department vessels. We thank every department that contributed to this event. We hope the public enjoyed it as much as we did!

Today, the Department of Corrections hosted a tour around the facility for the new POST cadets. We were able to showcase our day-to-day duties and a few of the fleets that we use. We hope they all had an enjoyable experience!
