Any time I see that bold tail in Kenyan flag colours and the “Pride of Africa” emblazoned along the fuselage of the KQ aircraft majestically parked at JFK in New York, Heathrow in London, DXB in Dubai, JNB in Johannesburg, Entebbe in Uganda, or any other international airport, my heart swells with Kenyan pride. The @KenyaAirways Uganda Country Manager, @FELLOTUKS paid me a courtesy call at the Kenya High Commission in Kampala. He shared with me the impressive progress KQ is making in the Ugandan market, which is among the airline’s top destinations globally. We explored ways of supporting this upward trajectory, and agreed on areas of collaboration in Kenya’s strategic national interests, and for the mutual shared progress of Kenya and Uganda. Our two countries enjoy a special bond that continues to power cordial bilateral ties between Kampala and Nairobi, inspiring the dream of deeper integration across the whole of the East African Community. Progress is only meaningful and sustainable when shared.

Shortly after the car broke down, while we were still puzzled about what to do next, Madam @taffies_safaris CEO of Taffie Safaris picked up a spanner and toolbox and stepped out of the car.

After 20 minutes, she simply said, “Get in, we move.” Just like that, the issue was solved.
