May 16th - 22nd is National Safe Boating Week. It's a great time to remind everyone to never go swimming near boats plugged into shore power, or docks with electrical service. Electric Shock Drowning (ESD) can occur. Make sure docks have GFCI breakers.
⚠ Can I drive over downed power lines? No. Never.
Downed power lines can still be energized - even if they're not sparking or moving. Driving over one can cause serious injury or death.
✔ Stay in your vehicle
✔ Call 911
✔ Warn others to stay away
