We’re talking a lot about the future of Barrow, it’s so important we involve young people.

We held a brilliant event to hear their ideas: Youth facilities, vegetarian cafe, inclusive transport, a mindfulness space & community garden.

On 19th May, over 150 girls from all over Barrow had the opportunity to celebrate women's football and enjoy a tournament when they took part in the Stanway Trophies.

"It was a brilliant day," said organiser Steve Herbert, "girls' football is having such a resurgence in Barrow”
