[Rep. Ritchie Torres @RepRitchie]

Anti-immigrant policies have prevented ~40K diversity visa winners from receiving their visas. We must pass the “Keeping Our Promise Act” to ensure they get their visas & are not penalized for past #Trump xenophobic measures. My oped w/ @FWDus in @thehill https://t.co/HjuUL4j85R

DV-2021 immigrants have been harmed by Trump's travel bans for six months. Now they are harmed by the inability of @SecBlinken to run the consular section @TravelGov of @StateDept
That's unfair. #DV2021 only have 2.5 months before their deadline.
We need urgent help!

[Fadwa Elhossieney @FElhossieney]

@DASimmigration @TravelGov We are Diversity Visa 2021 immigrants. @TravelGov has issued ~3% of our 55k visas in 8 out of 12 months. #DV2021 immigrants deserve to be supported, heard & welcomed too!
Please save our American dream. We need rapid actions and prioritization.

@DASimmigration @TravelGov DoS
@TravelGov
uses a tiered approach to prioritize #DV2021 at the end of their to-do list under the guise of COVID-19.
This is a ban on over 50k immigrants who will lose their immigration opportunity by Sep 30, FOREVER.

@DASimmigration @TravelGov As all @TravelGov employees abroad have been vaccinated, why are embassies not open and issuing visas?

Asking over 50k #DV2021 immigrants to give up their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immigrate to America FOREVER.
