How 90% of people give back their profits in a bull market
Tom makes a nice 6 figs in memecoins. He thinks he is hot shit but see other people make 7 figs.
Tom thinks to himself. "I'm underperforming. I need to lock in."
Tom starts to risk more in small caps because they provide higher return.
Instead of having conviction in the coin that made him money, he throws more money in new coins.
Unfortunately, these new coins end up being garbage. However, Tom thinks it's fine. It's part of the game.
People on the timeline are saying "It's still early. The supercycle hasn't started yet. Bet more."
Tom sees other people making all this money on other new shiny coins and doesn't want to miss out.
Instead of stopping, he thinks. "I just need one trade to make back my losses."
Then BTC dumps and so does all of his bags.
Tom risks more and falls into a deeper hole. At some point, Tom has lost his port.
Don't be Tom.
