@Nick_Marseil I have 2. One for the bedroom and one to play next to my wife while she plays on the Series X, which sits next to my Ps5. If Ps5s weren't so hard to get and over priced I'd have 2 of those as well.
@pearlythingz I would assume the conservative equivalent to a post-modern liberal. They're a conservative with new conservative values so they don't match the "authentic" ides of a conservative.
@JasconiusGames@Lawrious@Grummz What does any of that have to do with software.. -_-. Most companies are using ancient software because the systems are more secure. Iterative releases would be completely irrelevant to a system that only gets updated every few decades.
@Grummz@Mentats11 A start screen isn't just a "development" choice it's also an "artistic" choice as it's the first thing you see. In a lot of graphics design courses "Less is more" has been empathized.
@skydie30@ZefalonG@CookedbyReaves@Zuby_Tech Based on? Seems like they really want to just increase their installation based via gamepass, which could be better in the long term as. Subscription is a continuous flow of income per customer vs a single $60 sale.
@CookedbyReaves @TiLF_Daoupest @Zuby_Tech Because most people don't care. It's a little odd to track people who are in middle management that have virtually no role in the creation of video games.
@CookedbyReaves@Zuby_Tech It's a small ecosystem. In corporate America once you get a certain level you have to stay in that bubble even if it's with competition.
@LeWeirdPotato@exoprimal Exp is directly related to the metals you get. So that's a correlation to what enemies you're killing and how. Because of the duration of regular PvE Missions you're always going to get more XP
@exoprimal@CapcomUSA_ Dominantors need to be removed from PvE. If both teams can win why have a PvP mechanic that can force one team to lose. A winning team has no reason to even get a dominator as that's just making it harder for the other team to have a chance of finishing.
Please don't leave your team in a 3V5 to go capture the point. When your team loses the fight, the enemy is just going to take the point back. #Overwatch#Flashpoint#Teamwork
@stefayylmao1 I'm pretty sure they have a very limited marketing budget considering the game is 6+ Years old. They're likely putting all the wait on the community team + social media word of mouth. Ubisoft is doing the same thing with The Division 2.
@sabrinafranzoni @Ravian__W @Jay3OW I understand I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure at some point they'll release them stand alone ($5 or less). I'm not sure how that translates in your region but it's a lot better than the $15 bundle.
@Jonesfan43_4 @EvaLangwin@YungCrowley18 Yes because they were literally getting paid by Activision to work on Overwatch while they were working on PvP. Eventually the money dries up and Activision wants a return on their investment. Labor isn't free.. if that was the case you would just tear up your checks.
@Mizznimal@EvaLangwin@YungCrowley18 Where are they going to get the 15-20 Million to pay developers for 3-5 years of labor? Are you going to start a crowd funded campaign for them?
@Osaveugle @EvaLangwin@YungCrowley18 Actually they'd cut losses. Why continue to invest in a project that has poor public reception when they can release Call of Duty 2,383 and instantly get a return.
@Blue43G@heartyliterally@EvaLangwin@YungCrowley18 They tried to develop a full fledged PvE mode and got shut down 3 years into it. They cannot do what they want as the development teams needs money to work and they can't just do whatever they want when they're being paid by someone else.
