I had to cancel my stream yesterday.
My mother was rushed to the hospital because of very high fever.
She lost consciousness when she was in bed due to dehydration caused by the fever...
The reason for this is an infection of her medical port. It is a small "device" that is placed under the skin to give healthcare providers a direct and painless doorway into the bloodstream through a catheter (tube) for long-term treatments. In her case for the daily "feeding" and for the chemo-therapy.
But because this is a very sensitive area - as the tube usually is placed close to the heart - it has to be handled with extreme care to avoid bacteria and the like to enter through that doorway.
My mom's port sadly was infected and therefore needed to be removed and replaced. This whole situation really was a shock and we don't know yet how long it will take her to recover. She is getting antibiotics and needs to rest a lot.

I'm restless and worried at the moment, I will take it slow!

**IMPORTANT** My streaming schedule will change from now on, I hope this is okay.

Starting next week I will stream Wednesdays and Saturdays 6pm CEST
