@batcountry1980@TheStingisBack Itโs great! I was actually an extra in it! Great cast, great story, but mildly let down by some of its inaccuracies of period detail & obvious anachronistic moments! (Eg 70โs vehicles, 1977 film at the Odeon & rockers with Motorhead patches)
@batcountry1980@peterlanee Iโm a lifelong Whovian right from the very first episode (shown the day after With the Beatles was released) but I wouldnโt watch that tripe. I bailed when RTD returned. I knew what was coming. Fine in his other shows like QAF, Years & Itโs a Sin but not needed in DW!
@batcountry1980 There was a nod to those who could t afford albums though. Those three tracks all led on very successful EPโs (3 of their first 4) with Twist & Shout going as high as 2 in some music paper singles charts & outselling the Brian Poole & the Tremeloes simultaneous single release
@KelvinJPersonMe@FXMC1957@JamesAHogg2 Indeed. Pity they didnโt bury a few Doctor Who & Likely Lads episodes along with the 2nd series of Dads Army!
