There's no reason to feel better about this.
The grievances are deep, urgent and valid and nothing but removal of genAI entirely will address them.
We cannot be complacent and accepting of shallow responses like this from game companies just because it's an IP we love.
The fact still remains that these assets are generated from the unethical theft and vandalism of the work of real human beings without consent in facilities that is destroying the water, electrical and land resources around them at an insane rate.

Make no mistake, GenAI must be completely removed from not just the gaming industry, but entirely.
There is no halfway points or fence sitting on this.
