Whether you’re pipetting, pouring, flaming, fixing, or “just stepping in for a second,” your lab coat is doing quiet, heroic work in the background: protecting you from becoming an experiment gone wrong.

If you spot spills or anything unusual near a storm grate—oil, chemicals, paint, fuel, or dumped liquids—report it to EH&S.
Don’t perform car maintenance on campus or pour drinks out near drains. Every action helps protect our waterways!
