This is our testament to our people's determination and limitless potential.

This milestone is not where our ambition ends, it is where it accelerates further. With 7 million enrollments by August 2026 firmly within our vision, I call upon every Ethiopian to be part of this national mission.

Addis Ababa’s Riverside Development is far more than a riverbank beautification project. From the Entoto to Peacock corridor to the Entoto–Kebena stretch, this is a large-scale urban transformation that extends up to 50 meters beyond the rivers, creating green corridors, public gathering spaces, walkable areas, recreation zones, and commercial spaces that are reshaping the city itself.

What makes the project especially significant is its broader economic and social impact. Beyond improving the appearance and function of the riversides, it has created jobs for many people across construction, engineering, landscaping, logistics, and related sectors, while also generating opportunities for local contractors, suppliers, and businesses. The fact that so much of the work is being designed and delivered locally highlights the growing capacity of Ethiopian expertise in urban development and infrastructure.

The sustainability aspect is equally important. Once dumping grounds for toxic waste and flood hazards affecting communities along the riverbanks, these areas are now being transformed into greener, healthier, and more liveable urban spaces. At the same time, the integration of commercial and public spaces demonstrates how environmental restoration and economic growth can work together rather than compete with one another.

This is a long-term investment in the future of Addis Ababa as a greener, more connected, economically vibrant, and people-centered city.

A population-scale project is reaching most remote households and underserved communities, a historic milestone for Ethiopia. Today, #Fayda has registered 45 million people.

Looking back at these photos reminds us of exactly where this journey began. We started with a small team and a massive vision, spending long days in the field, setting up makeshift registration sites in distant villages and working tirelessly to ensure no one was left behind.

None of this would have been possible without the high-level political commitment of our government, unwavering support of our partners, stakeholders and registration partners whose dedication has turned this ambition into a nationwide reality.

ከነዚህ ውስጥ በግሌ መጀመሩን እንኳን ሰምቼው የማላውቀው አዲስ የተመረቀው የላፍቶ ሆስፒታል በቀላሉ የሚታይ ሆኖ አልተሰማኝም። ይህ ግዙፍ ሆስፒታል ሆስፒታል ብቻ ሳይሆን የኢትዮጵያን ህክምና አንድ ደረጃ ወደፊት ያስኬደ ታላቅ ቅርስ ነው።

በቀን ብዙ ሺ ተመላላሽ ህሙማንን ማስተናገድ መቻሉ ብቻ ሳይሆን 17 ዘመናዊ ህንፃዎችን ይዞ 500 ህሙማን ተኝተው መታከም መቻላቸው አስገራሚ ያደርገዋል።
ከሁሉም ሆስፒታሉን ልዩ የሚያደርገው ግን ግዝፈቱና ብዙ ህሙማንን ማስተናገዱ ብቻ ሳይሆን በምስራቅ አፍሪካ ለመጀመሪያ ግዜ በ (AI) አርቴፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ የተደገፈ ህክምና ለመስጠት መዘገጀቱና የአለማችንን የመጨረሻ ደረጃ የህክምና መሳሪያዎች መታጠቁ ነው። በተለይ ብዙ ኢትዮጵያዊ የሚሰቃይባቸውና ውጪ ሄዶ ለመታከም መከራውን የሚያይባቸው ልብና ካንሰር የመሳሰሉ ህመሞችን ለመመርመርና ለማከም የተሰሩ ጥቂት ሐገራት ብቻ የሚገኙ ዘመናዊ መሳሪያዎች ሆስፒታሉ እንዲያሟላ ተደርጓል። (ልብ አንድ ጊዜ መትታ ሳትጨርስ ሙሉ ምርመራ ማድረግ የሚችል ፈጣን የምርመራ ቴክኖሎጂ ሁሉ ይዟል)

በዚህም ምክኒያት ከብዙ እንግልት ጋር ከፍተኛ የውጪ ምንዛሬ በመጨፍጨፍ ወደውጪ ሐገራት የሚሄዱ ህመምተኞች በሐገራቸው ቤተሰቦቻቸው መሃል ሆነው ሙሉ ህክምና እንዲያገኙ ማድረግ ያስችላል። ይሄ ዝም ብሎ የሚታለፍ ተራ ፕሮጀክት አይደለም። ይሄ ታሪክ ነው። ይሄ የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ካከናወናቸው ግዙፍ ፕሮጀክቶች አንዱ ተብሎ ሊመደብ የሚችል ታላቅ ገድል ነው። ለልጅ ልጅ የሚተላለፍ ድንቅ ስራ ነው።
