The Nursing EAC & Medicine Matrons of Wexham Park Hospital FHFT, sharing the excellence and learning opportunities in #teammedicine, all views are our own.
This new year may not be the ‘normal’ new year we celebrate. But as we reflect upon the year! We have been AMAZING! Our profession has been acknowledged, we have grown stronger as teams, individuals and we will continue to develop and adapt to what is sent our way! 1/2
It's time to celebrate our latest ViP winners! #FHFTVIP
Hepatology nurse specialist Liliana was nominated by a patient who praised her care, warmth, empathy and professionalism. They described their relationship with Liliana as a partnership working together on their care.
Our second #FHFTVIP winner this month is community sister Elaine.
A colleague nominated Elaine in recognition of her care for a cancer patient and his family during the final weeks of his life. His relatives praised the 'wonderful' support from Elaine and the community team.
Time for our third and final #FHFTVIP winners...
Alessandro and Remya were nominated for the professionalism they showed when they were required to change the configuration of a ward in record time
Thanks to their hard work & communication the changes were made in just 45 mins!
Safe to say that day 1 of our sprint project to launch #FrimleyEats was a success! Healthy😇 (and indulgent😍) snacks and drinks are available free to all staff. We are planning to visit different areas on different days, different times 24/7 across @FrimleyHealth
As the number of people testing positive for Covid-19 continues to rise we've had to temporarily suspend visiting at our Frimley and Wexham Hospitals from 1 Jan 22. We'll work with families with exceptional circumstances - see our website for more info: https://t.co/Tp7RE02q91

First falls huddle I have attended on Ward 9. Well lead by Chloe and great engagement from nursing and medical teams. Some clear themes already emerging. Great job team 👏 👍 @CarlitoMejia5@Wecanalldoit1@maxinemcvey @lornawilko @KarenPlews @Ceptahamm
I'm having lots of conversations with people about how tired everyone is feeling right now. This graphic from the brilliant @EmmaNeuropsych offers some clues. It's time for some self love and care
Capture This Moment in Time
Staff asked if there was a way they could artistically represent a snapshot of their teams during the pandemic.
Recording this time, the displacement and the feelings to create something that would capture this moment.

This continues to be the most wonderful project ❤
