@THSBlazersXCTF It has been an honor competing with you and growing with you. I don’t know many coaches who love the sport more and care for the kids more than you. I have learned much from you and will miss our friendly competition. Thank you for being my friend through it all.
@WolfpackXCTF Too kind!! Much of this comes from the example previous Ignatius runners have set: Affolter, etc. I marvel at the example these girls set for what true competition is about: “I want you to bring your best so I can bring my best.” They take joy in each others successes.
@MelvinLTate@FenwickboysXC@OakPark@FenwickAD The @FenwickboysXC ran tough today and it was a proud day for them. They put themselves in position early and fought to the end. 10th place in this talented field is impressive. An group of standup young men who should be proud.
State cross-country update. The @FenwickboysXC finish 10th in 2A with 312 points and Nathan McKillop merits All-State honors with an 18th-place finish (16:01.37).
Bella Daley of @FHSGirlsRunning
gets All-State for the 2nd straight year (17th, 18:40.09). @OakPark@FenwickAD
Good luck to Coach Roche and the Fenwick Girls' Cross Country team who will be competing in the Kaneland Sectional tomorrow morning at 10am! Go Friars!⚫️⚪️ @FHSGirlsRunning
