The 40% was so happy to invite the wonderful seniors at Atria Franklin to our school on Valentine's Day! We shared lunch together, told stories, gave out yellow Happiness ribbons, and celebrated the coming together of the generations. Happiness results when we smile together.

The 40% Club joined forced with the Swim Team to create handmade bracelets in honor of a former student (FHS Swim Team) who sadly passed away earlier this year. We will give these away at the first Franklin home swim meet this Friday evening. She would have loved this!

One of our teachers is undergoing some serious medical issues...the 40% students wanted to make this "quilt" for the person to hang on a wall so that this person never forgets how much we all care about them. We hope this provides some support through this most difficult time. 💙

In a time of thanks giving, the 40% wishes to celebrate one selfless student who holds the door open for so many students & staff members each day. He does this out of the goodness of his heart, and we earnestly thank him from our hearts. Do good and appreciate when others do! 💙

Be thankful today and every day for this life we live, for the people who make our lives richer and more fun, and for the ability to brighten one another's day with a smile or words of encouragement. Pay attention to these and not the things you do not have.

Goodness abounds! When one of us is hurting, we all share in that suffering. Last Friday the 40% Club celebrated the amazing teacher Mr. White is and we wanted him to know that we are thinking of him during this time.

The 40% Club offered two Happiness surprises last Friday for two of our favorite faculty members who, we felt, could use a sign of how appreciated they are by us all. Life can bring us troubles, but together we bring comfort and healing. Just look at these smiles!
