I've put together this page with two strategy/calculation games for KS2 children (top) and two of my favourite calculation games to play with Y1-Y3 children (below). Wonderful for improving calculation fluency and good fun! https://t.co/yVYgXkN4Kn
@RussynCast@ILSCITT The Wild Hunt by Tallest Man on Earth has been on pretty heavy rotation at Casa Maths during the lockdown. Which was the Mark Lanagan record you were recommending @RussynCast?
Mine is 27. We all know 3 is a magic number, and I'm going to make the bold claim that 27 is threeier that three:
3 x 3 x 3 = 27
30 - 3 = 27
27 -> 2+7 = 9 = 3 x 3
Possibly my favourite website in the world, showing that maths is everywhere - https://t.co/U2RG0tK4sC
Talk about the maths in the pictures. Can you see a calculation? Can you find or make your own maths picture?

Can you design a picnic that could be halved?
@MrsBatesTeaches If you want to follow up any of the lessons...
Day 1 - Go on a hunt around your house and garden. Can you find things that have been split into equal parts? Can you find things that have been split into unequal parts?

Teachers out there, you are probably all over this, but if you haven't seen it @WhiteRoseMaths home learning is quite brilliant. Get your kids on this - sequential, accessible, not daunting to parents - ticks every box imaginable. https://t.co/C2vknn4M71
